Gaming company TotoGaming and game developer Pragmatic Play have teamed up to create a new game called “Journey to the Galaxy,” which launched on March 4, 2025. This collaboration came about after Pragmatic Play held a competition in 2024 for gaming companies in Armenia.
The competition rewarded companies for completing challenges aimed at getting players more involved in games. The top prize was the chance to have Pragmatic Play create a special game just for the winning company.

Victorya Harutyunyan, the Head of Product Marketing Department at TotoGaming, said, “This was an exciting opportunity to test our skills. Although our brand has been in the market for 20 years, we love participating in competitions and setting new challenges for ourselves. Pragmatic Play’s competition was exactly that. Our team spent months developing creative marketing campaigns and coming up with innovative approaches. The result is TotoGaming’s victory, which was truly inspiring.”
After TotoGaming won, the work began to develop “Journey to the Galaxy.” TotoGaming already liked some of the features in an existing Pragmatic Play game, like the option to buy bonuses and free spins. So, the next step was to decide on the look and feel of the new game.

Harutyunyan added, “This is where one of the most exciting phases began. Our team found the concept we wanted to visualize in this game—an extension of TotoGaming’s vision and mission. The idea was to transport users to another ‘gaming’ world, essentially to another TotoGaming galaxy. That’s how the game got its name—Journey to the Galaxy. We worked extensively with Pragmatic Play on every detail—from TotoGaming’s flag to the well-known Toto icon. Even the music was carefully selected.”
Both companies paid close attention to all the details while making the game. TotoGaming came up with the ideas, and Pragmatic Play designed and built the game to their usual high standards. The project started on July 9, 2024, and was finished in March 2025.

The result is a new and exciting game with great visuals and interesting ways to play, which is expected to be popular with players.
Harutyunyan also noted the benefits beyond just the game itself. “This collaboration also unlocks cross-promotion and expanded marketing opportunities, allowing us to strategically plan game teasers and targeted communications that strengthen player engagement,” she said.
